Missional Law is so excited to share the story of the three sisters whose names are Grace, Maliamu, and Valeria. These sisters got arrested on 22 May 2023 on a suspicion that they had committed the offense of murder in Dedza district. At the time of her arrest Maliamu was 4 months pregnant, Grace was nursing a 1 year and 4 months baby boy and Valeria was nursing a 5-month baby boy. The situation was very tough for these sisters. However, these innocent Children were subjected to hard prison conditions. It is by the grace of God that these children are in good health. Today on 13 December 2024, these sisters have smiled again. Today was just like any other day because they never knew that they are going home. When they held the news, they shed tears and praised God for what He has done to them. Amazing songs were sung to them by their fellow inmates at Kachere Prison as one way of wishing them well. Missional Law in partnership with the Malawi Legal Aid worked so hard to make sure that justice has been granted to these sisters. Missional Law used its resources to make sure that this case is completed. Missional Law had to pay for the three sisters bail bonds also. Upon the day of the release Missional Law was able to give each one of them transport from the capital city of Malawi to Dedza district. Missional Law had to buy them new clothes and granted them food. Today these three sisters have been reunited with their families. LOVE AND JUSTICE HAVE NO BOARDERS. May God richly bless you as your thinking of helping Missional Law.
